Case Study: Manchester University

Trisha has partnered directly with MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY  since 2023 as their trusted freelance designer, stepping in to lead high-visibility print and digital projects when their internal team needs extra capacity. From five alumni magazines to recruitment materials, interactive tools, and custom vector graphics, the work spans formats but stays consistent: thoughtful design that feels unmistakably Manchester.

STEPPING IN
WHEN NEEDED

What began as a one-time project quickly became an ongoing partnership. When Manchester Univeristy found themselves between designers, Trisha stepped in to take over their alumni magazine to help relieve some of the workload. One project became another, and soon Trisha became their go-to creative partner whenever their marketing team needed experienced, reliable support.

TELLING
MANCHESTER'S

STORY WELL

At the center of the work is The Manchester alumni magazine, now five issues and counting, along with multiple brochure sets and recruitment pieces that help tell Manchester’s story with clarity and warmth. Each publication balances tradition with a fresh, modern feel through strong typography, thoughtful pacing, and photography-forward layouts. The goal is simple: make every piece feel approachable, trustworthy, and distinctly Manchester.

LASTING

CREATIVE PARTNERSHIP

What started as stepping in during a transition has grown into a lasting creative partnership. With every magazine, brochure, and project led directly by Trisha from concept to completion, and in close collaboration with Manchester’s internal marketing team, the visual voice stays steady and fully aligned with the university’s established brand standards. That continuity builds trust not only within their team, but with the students, families, and alumni who engage with each piece.
